Book Club

Book club is a great opportunity for students to engage and share their love of reading with their peers. This group meets bi-weekly during recess. The objective of this club is to provide a brain break and a space to do activities and discuss books in a non-classroom setting. Open to everyone! We've had a great turnout so far, and the students have been great at being flexible and self-directed.

Where? When?

Book club is held bi-weekly in the ICC during each grade level's recess.

What activities?

Some of the activities we've done include watching trailers of books, writing recommendation cards, and playing literary Jeopardy. We look forward to continuing to grow and making full use of this ICC space and all the many great titles we have to offer.
