It's time for winter! With hot cocoa and sledding, with warm apple cider and warm frosted cookies. With love and family time, it's almost impossible to escape the cold. But instead of escaping it, why not try embracing it? After the holidays you're in a terrible mood, where school is back on your mind, and with frostbite to avoid. It's time to ski on Little Swiss hills, drink warm hot chocolate at Fiddleheads, and get cookies at Colectivo. Even though it's winter, and even though it's cold, all you have to do is put it out of your mind till Spring comes, and soon… It will be Summer again! And…summer break!

Some things to do in January in Mequon:

  • Walking in the Mequon Nature Preserve for the Nature Lovers of Mequon.

  • Sledding on Mule or Mee-Kwon Hill/Park.

  • Skiing on Little Swiss.

  • Hockey.

  • Ice Skate.

  • Skateboarding.

  • Bake/Cook winter treats!

  • Look for Hot Chocolate at Colectivo.

  • Go see movies at Marcus North Shore Theaters.

  • Make a snowman outside in your backyard.

  • Frost Cookies at Glaze.
