Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls

The Milwaukee Bucks, the NBA basketball team of Wisconsin, took on the daunting Chicago Bulls in a great matchup between two great teams this past friday, Jan. 21, 2022. The Chicago Bulls were short handed, as they didn’t have two of their star players, Lonzo Ball and Zach Lavine, but Chicago pulled through to make it a very tough game for the Bucks.
The game was very close after every quarter had ended. The teams fired shot after shot and continued to make them in the basket. A very big part of this game was the planning of Billy Donovan, the head coach of the Chicago Bulls, and star player Demar DeRozan, number 11 on his jersey. Donovan had set a plan to have two people guarding Giannis when near the hoop, making it harder on Giannis to score, while Demar DeRozan had a stellar performance with 35 points in the 38 minutes he played on the court.
Despite the performance of the Bulls, they just could not stop the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, as he put up 30 points in 36 minutes, as well as Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday with total combined points of 29. Both teams persisted in trying to win the game, but at the end of the day, only one team can win. The Bucks came at the top with a win of 94-90, and it was a well-deserved win. Both teams made it hard on each other, explaining why the score was not in the higher 90’s/100’s like they usually are. Either way, it was a great fight between both teams and definitely a matchup that will always be great to watch.
